Connected and non-connected hotels

The RoomTrust hotel database holds a mix of Connected and Non-Connected Hotels.

Connected Hotels

Hotels who have access to the RoomTrust system. Connected hotels can:

  • Manage their own details and content
  • Receive and respond to direct group requests from event organisers
  • Contract room blocks electronically with event organisers
  • See the status of all groups at their hotel
  • Run Rooming lists, Change Reports and Invoice Requests
  • Look at reservation details for each booked guest

Non-Connected Hotels

Have no access to the RoomTrust system. They have been added to RoomTrust for a single event, perhaps, so that a group organiser can create a booking site for event participants with rooms they have contracted with a hotel.

Company and Organiser managers can add any hotel they have a negotiated (paper) contract with. There are no restrictions - any hotel, anywhere in the world, can be added. Adding a hotel to RoomTrust.

Once a hotel is added, an event organiser can create a group in RoomTrust and create a Manual allocation by adding the contract details.

Rooming lists can be sent to non-connected hotels in a secure directly from the system. Sending secure rooming lists to non-connected hotels.

Any non-connected hotel in RoomTrust can be invited to connect. There are many advantages for connected hotels. Inviting hotels to connect to RoomTrust.
